FDCU International Symposium 2024 was held in Bangkok, Thailand between 20-21 May 2024 under the theme of "The New Era of Excellence and Innovation in Dentistry".

The annual symposium is hosted by prestigious Faculty of Dentistry of Chulalongkorn University, the first dental school in Thailand. Shofu supported this year's symposium which brought together researchers, clinicians and students from across the ASEAN region.

The symposium kicked off with an engaging lecture on the present and future of bioactive restorative materials given by Professor Imazato Satoshi of Osaka University.

Bioactive dental materials was a recurring theme in the afternoon session starting with a lecture on marginal integrity of direct composite restorations by Professor Tagami Junji of Chulalongkorn University.

This was followed by a Shofu sponsored session titled "Innovative preventive strategy applying bioactive technology Giomer/S-PRG filler". Back in Exhibition hall, we also had a lively interaction with symposium participants on Shofu products including Giomer products.
